Have A Hen Party To Remember
Have a hen party to remember
You’ve set the date, organised the catering and have chosen your dream dress. All that’s left to do is get the hen party sorted! It’s your last night of freedom and is the highlight of the pre-wedding preparations, and that means you want it to be big, bold and truly unforgettable. So why not get planning?
Hen party ideas
There are plenty of hen do ideas that could take your fancy, and it all depends on what your individual preferences may be. It’s an incredibly personal choice—you don’t want to be left doing an activity you won’t enjoy, after all—and ideally either you’ll be in charge of things or the head bridesmaid (who of course knows you inside out) will know just what to do to ensure it’s an event you’ll never forget. We wanted to help out a bit so we thought we’d give you a few ideas to get the ball rolling, with a few popular choices being:
• The raucous night out. An oldie but a goodie, sometimes you just can’t beat a night on the tiles for the ultimate hen party. You could go all-out with costumes and accessories, perhaps you want to rent a limo for a truly glamorous affair and of course, getting on those VIP lists is a must.
• The cocktail making lesson. A cocktail making class could be the perfect way to add something different into proceedings, being far more than a regular hen night and a great chance for the girls to get together and have a laugh (with alcohol thrown in for good measure). But, this could of course be substituted for alternatives depending on the preferences of the bride to be. Perhaps a wine tasting event is more her thing, or even a cupcake making class—anything a bit out of the ordinary would be ideal.
• The pampering weekend. A bit of pampering could be just what you need to relax after all that wedding prep, with a spa weekend being a great way to unwind and indulge in a few treatments.
• The high-octane activity. For all the adrenalin junkies out there, doing a truly OTT activity could be a fantastic alternative to hen parties that are more on the girly side, and you can go as outrageous as you please—paintballing, Segway racing, go karting and even a few laps in a supercar could all be options, so get your thinking cap on and see what you can come up with.
Don’t forget the accessories
There are plenty of options when it comes to hen nights, but no matter what activity you decide upon there’s one aspect you always need to remember—the accessories. A few hen party accessories should be at the top of the list and can ensure everyone knows who you are and what you’re celebrating (whilst offering some great photo opportunities too), so make sure to get the hen do sashes, costumes and even personalised t-shirts sorted for a night you’ll never forget.
