Going Cocktail Crazy On A Hen Do
Going cocktail crazy on a hen do
Deciding what to do for a hen party can be tough. There are lots of hen do ideas floating around, but finding one that ticks all of your boxes isn’t always straightforward.
Some of your group might be a little on the wild side, while others may be more tame in their preferences. This makes your job difficult. However, one option that might suit everyone is a cocktail making class. Events like this are fun and people can get as involved as they like.
Popular
According to a report in the Liverpool Echo, these parties are becoming more and more popular. The publication remarked: “Liverpool has long been the destination of choice for hen parties and girls’ nights out, but now the city is seeing a new trend emerge - a hands-on approach to finding the perfect drink.”
It noted that Victoria Street bar and restaurant The Living Room has witnessed a surge in the number of groups signing up to its master classes as part of their hen do celebrations.
Showing off their moves
Commenting on this, sales and marketing co-ordinator Paul Quinn says: “We’ve had a real run on cocktail masterclasses in recent months. Hen nights and birthday parties are particularly popular reasons for wanting to get behind the bar and show off their moves, but women are coming in to learn about cocktail making for all sorts of reasons and occasions.
“There seems to be a move away from relaxing spa days or escaping to the sun; now, the girls are more interested in letting their hair down in one of the UK’s best cities.”
The rest of your day
Of course, a cocktail class does not make a hen do. To ensure your fellow revellers have a great experience, it’s important to plan a number of celebrations. You might also want to book a restaurant and VIP booths in bars or nightclubs, for example.
If you fancy exercising your vocal cords, there’s also the option of arranging a karaoke session. These days, you can get your own booths, so you don’t have to stand up in front of a bar full of potential hecklers if you’re not feeling brave enough.
All-important accessories
Meanwhile, there are the hen party accessories to consider too. If you don’t have sashes, badges, games and so on, you might just feel like you’re on a regular day or night out.
Making sure your group looks the part and getting stuck into some dares, his and hers games and so on can really put you in the hen party mood.
